Harness Safety Level 4 course teaches delegates how to carry out remote rescue and evacuation of operators that have sustained an arrested fall. In addition to a mix of theoretical and practical study, Level 4 includes elements of basic training from Level 1, covering the relevant Working at Height regulations that deal with reducing fall risks, the levels of control measures, and using personal prevention and protection systems for fall restraint and arrest and correct work positioning.
This course encompasses learning from Level 1 and is aimed at those who as part of their working duties are required to use and inspect safety harnesses used at height.
This is a full day course delivered by 2 Cousins and delegates need to have a reasonable level of fitness as well as a head for heights to complete the practical elements of the course.
Candidates that successfully complete the full-day Safety Harness Level 4 training gain a certificate valid for five years.
